Q: Do I send the cheque/cash together with my application form?
No you DO NOT. Selected participants will be notified and contacted via either email or phone. Collection of $50 will only be made after confirmation.
Q: What if I can only join the camp 1 day after commencement?
Should you get selected, all you need to do is to inform the person who contacts you. This applies for participants who have to leave early as well. Like I said, you don’t really want to miss out on the opportunities to make great friends because of that 1 day that you can’t make it right?!?! Most importantly, you don’t want to miss out on the FUN!
Q: I can’t swim. I cant cycle. Would that pose a problem?
Of course not! we will be kind enough to excuse you from games that require swimming. Cycling will not be required for the camp. Other than that, refer to previous question on why you should just apply first
Q: What’s the packing list?
Not to worry too much about this. Your friendly and helpful Group Leaders (GLs) will contact you with regards to packing list if you get selected. Most likely an email will be sent on what to pack for the camp.
Q: Can I send my application via email?
I have mentioned this as well. As all applications will be sent to Sharon and re-sorted out, it is best that you send your application by snail mail. This allows better reference amongst all other group leaders as well as higher efficiency.
Q: I am accepted into NBS through appeal and have yet received the FOC booklet, what should I do?
No worries! We will send another round of booklets to those accepted through appeal so you will receive your booklets soon!
Note: In the case when demands exceed supply, participants will be chosen through balloting.
